We are constantly under surveillance in a society that controls self governance in a data saturated culture. Many sports wearables and tracking devices make our data visible to the invisible. We are finding it increasingly difficult to control our data and know where our data is going. This exhibition explores the health of bodies with the expense of data through the feminist perspective of the female athlete.

This exhibition looks at two case studies, Strava Global Heat Maps and the Florida High School Athletic Association menstrual cycle form, to critique female surveillance and the lack of transparency data privacy holds to discriminate against female athletes and to shed light on this position of the invisible network of data and the body/ device relationship through the female athlete lens.
